The North Providence Mystery Book Club will be meeting on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The book we will be discussing is Medicus: a novel of the Roman Empire by Ruth Downie. The main character is Gaius Petrius Ruso, an army doctor who takes a posting in Roman Britain. The book's blurb states "Gaius Petrius Ruso is a divorced and down-on his luck army doctor who has made the rash decision to seek his fortune in an inclement outpost of the Roman Empire, namely Britannia.
